Transition to Secondary School
The senior students are provided with a number of activities to fully prepare them for their transition to secondary school.
Our grades 5 & 6 students are invited to neighboring secondary schools for a day of lessons. A number of schools send teachers and students to our schools to provide information and answer questions about the move to year 7. In December each year, the Grade 6 students participate in Orientation Day where they meet their teachers and peer group for the following year.
This is an exiting time for our students and we endeavor to make the transition as stress free as possible.
